A case of ringworm in cats

The most common fungal infection in cats is ringworm. Despite the name ringworm is caused by a group of fungi known as dermatophytes. 94% of all cases of fungal infection in cats come by Microsporum Canis, which is one of three mushrooms in the dermatophytes group.
